How to Code It with OBDThink
• 1. Connect a compatible OBD adapter, switch the ignition on and wait for OBDThink to identify the vehicle.
• 2. Open Coding, select the compatible control unit shown by the app and create a backup of the current coding.
• 3. Find the feature, read its description and the values offered for this vehicle; never force an unsupported value.
• 4. Select the required option and start coding. Do not switch off the ignition, remove the adapter or background the app.
• 5. After the success message, complete the requested ignition cycle and test the feature while the vehicle is stationary.
• 6. If a warning or unexpected behavior appears, restore the backup and scan the vehicle before making another change.
